POLICIES
We love all of our clients at Emerald Esthetics, and we want everyone to feel at home in our friendly Esthetic Salon. That’s why we’ve set a few basic policies to make sure everyone who walks through our doors has an experience that leaves them wanting to return time and again. Here are our policies. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.Due to the Canadian health guidelines, every guest has the option of wearing a face mask or not during their appointment time, as well if you'd like me to wear one please just ask. Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance for your safety and convenience.
Cancellation or missed appointment policy. I am very understanding that emergencies come up. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, 24 hours before your appointment if for some reason you need to cancel text me or call or message or all 3 to let me know. If I don't respond I'm probably just busy but it's not based when I read/hear it's from when you left the message. If you miss or are after that 24 hour mark for your cancellation (unless it's because of an emergency where you physically can't text/call/message, please be honest about this it's only fair) you'll have to pay 50% of your missed/cancelled appointment before you can book a new appointment. Weather aka snow cancellation policy still applies unless highways are closed. I drive my son out of town for his child-care, so if I can get there and back, and you need to cancel the fee still implies (unless highways close after, and don't worry we do have a back up to get him!)
Late policy, I understand that traffic maybe busy or kids might keep you behind or work runs late. I budget time between every appointment I have a 5 minute window if you aren't within the 5 minute window I'll call you and if you say "be there in 10 minutes," I don't have the time to extend your appointment so that 15 minutes will come out of your appointment, if you had just an eyebrow or lip waxing it would be an automatic cancellation.
Lash extension policy: I have been very far and generous to all my lash people. But I have no decided to put in an automatic non-refundable deposit, I have have had so many loyal and dedicated lash clients, but I have had a few reschedule last minute, cancel, or even no show. This is how this works...Full sets: $25 non-refundable depositFills: $15 non-refundable deposit So in order to book in for your lash extension appointment you have pay the deposit (taken off the total amount, can only transfer one time, otherwises deposit is forfeited and new deposit will be required!), and if you decide to cancel your appointment (with less then 24 hours notice) the deposit will be taken off the total then divided in half. Example 75-25=50 50/2=$25 MUST BE PAID BEFORE BOOKING OR WILL BE CANCELLED!Deposits are transferable 1 time, and can't be transferred past 2 1/2 months and will require a new deposit for any appointments past 2 1/2months. After 2 1/2 months deposit is invalid!
Added cancellation policy fees
If fees are not paid with in 48hrs you will be automatically removed from my client list. I'm sorry but I have people who still have owning outdated fees from months ago. I know times suck, but someone else could have had the appointment slot you booked in for, and I loss out to on my time, products, and money.
Also C0VID policy I understand it's literally EVERYWHERE right now, but if you need to cancel because someone in your household needs to test or you do, please if you know 12 hours prior to your appointment message/text/email me that your needing to isolate and waiting test results my fee will not apply!
